Purpose
Known’s purpose is To equip our youth and all believers, to understand the Christian faith , defend their faith, and to be better equipped witnesses for Christ. We understand that theology and digging into the christian faith can be intimidating, but it’s our goal to provide trustworthy and biblically sound resources for any area of life and faith. Through all media forms (podcast, social media, website, in-person events) we seek to embody our statement of faith and purpose. All ministries, individuals, and organizations that are platformed by known align with the statement of faith, *unless explicitly stated otherwise.“I love those who love me,

We believe in one sovereign, eternal God existing in three co-eternal and co-equal persons, identified for us in Scriptures as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These three share in the one essential Being and, in all attributes, and perfections of the Godhead.scripture
We believe the Scriptures, both Old and New Testament, to be the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writing, the complete revelation of His will for our salvation, and the Divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life.sin
We believe that we are created in the image of God. By sinning, Adam marred that image and broke fellowship with God, incurring physical and spiritual death upon the entire human race.salvation
We believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe, and only such as receive Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit and thus become children of God.the church
We believe that the Church is described as the body of Christ and is composed of all
believers who are placed into that body through a personal relationship with Jesus
Christ as their Savior and Lord, and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. The local
visible church is a manifestation of the universal church organized for the

We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, perfect in His deity. We believe that He took upon Himself a complete and perfect humanity in the incarnation; that He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, was crucified as a sacrifice for sins and a substitute for sinners; that He was raised personally and bodily from the dead, and that He ascended to heaven where He is now seated at the right hand of God in intercession for believers. We accept Jesus Christ as King of kings, Head of the Church, and Lord of all.the holy spirit
We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, and during this age to convict people, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct and empower the believer for godly living and service.judgement
We believe that Jesus Christ is coming again and will reward believers with
everlasting life in heaven and judge unbelievers to eternal separation from God in hell.marriage and sexuality
We believe that God has designed marriage to be a covenantal, lifelong, monogamous union of one man and one woman, as husband and wife. God's revealed will for all people is chastity outside of marriage and fidelity within marriage. We believe that it is sinful to approve of homosexual immorality or transgenderism and that such approval constitutes an essential departure from Christian faithfulness and witness. to know god, and be known by god.
