event 2 recap

What a wonderful evening! We were blessed to have about 55 people attend (about 40 youth).  Weather caused us to have to postpone the event to March 18th (was originally supposed to take place February 18) and we were blessed to have Nick Klassen give a talk to creation and science. We want youth and all believers to know how to defend the Biblical account of creation and how knowing what Gods word says is rational and trustworthy. We had a great Q&A session and the youth asked thoughtful and challenging questions. Thank you to Pastor Madison Sawatzky for joining Nick in the Q&A session, fielding questions from the youth.

We want to also provide a few ministry resources that are a blessing in different apologetic areas (in no particular order). There are many great ministries that provide various apologetic focuses, but the ones listed here are ones we have personally used and have seen their Biblical  faithfulness, honoring Jesus and the Gospel of Christ.

creation apologetics - Answers in genesis (usa and canada)

Ken Hamm leads the ministry of Answers in Genesis which focuses on young earth creation, and the Biblical account of the global flood. Among books, their online resources are fantastic and varies in depth and complexity which makes it a fantastic resource for all ages. Answers in Genesis offers great information that will assist in knowing how to understand and share the truth of creation that the Bible teaches. Besides the online resources they operate in-person minstry locations such as the creation museum and the Ark Encounter.

Creation apologetics - Is genesis history?

Is Genesis History is another fantastic resource for creation science. Especially if you like to nerd out and go into deep scientific details there are plenty of in-depth material that Is Genesis History provides. Especially their information regarding the global flood account and how fossil records, rock formations and many more aspects affirm the Biblical account. Don't hesitate to watch their full film that the offer for free on their youtube channel.
